Thanksgiving day, we had dinner with David's family at a church somewhere in the SLC valley. It seemed strange to be going to church for Thanksgiving, and we didn't go until 5pm but it ended up being such a fun evening for everyone. Trent and I got to chat with everyone, the kids got to play in the gym until their faces were red, and everyone got to eat some of the best food ever! How could this not have been a day to be thankful for. In fact, to this day (2 months later), Seth still asks to play with Ruby (Dana and Doug's little girl, at he head of the table in the top picture). Oh, it is so precious to hear the way the kiddos talk about all their family in Utah. It makes me all the more grateful for them and everything they do for us.
