Trey got on a team with boys that were almost all first time players too - so that was good. He also had a boy from his class last year, David, on his team. He was glad about that. The team is a mix of Lovejoy ISD and Allen ISD boys. It is a great team. They are the New York Mets. Trey already loves baseball. He even loves to go out and play catch now, or practice hitting with Mommy or Papa at Celebration Park on Monday afternoons, while Jada is at Singers Company. I think this will be a sport he sticks with for a little while. But we will see, because he wants to play basketball in the winter and flag football in the spring. We will see what he ends up liking best. But for now, he is thoroughly enjoying his new baseball team! Go Mets!
These are pictures from his very first baseball game ever!
Coach Todd Wilson pitching. Being only 7 years old, it is still coach pitch. I believe at 8yrs old it goes to kid pitch!!
The team in the dug out.
Jada and Seth enjoyed playing in the sand around the fields and making new friends while Trey played his game.
Trey's team lost, and they showed lots of room for improvement, but everyone had fun and everyone is excited to see the growth and development over the course of the season. Trey loved it! I would be willing to bet that by the end of the season, every player on the team will have improved immensely and learned so much more about baseball! Go METS!

I think I can say that baseball was my favorite of all the sports to watch (excluding football in highschool). The air of baseball, the goodie shack, the time it takes and the sitting around doing nothing but enjoying life is something that will be remembered. Love the pictures Jenny...but love you more... Can't believe the beautiful shots you take and I also can't believe how cute you do our little princesses hair. See you soon!!
