When Trent sets his mind to something, things get done... immediately. And after Seth got Jada's old bike, his next mission was to find Trey a new bike. And he did. We had told Trey that if he wanted to get a new bike, we would be willing to pay half of it and he would have to pay the other half. He agreed to that immediately. So, Trent started searching craigslist.... And he found a Mongoose bike that someone was selling. So, at about 8:30pm one night Trey and I went over to someone's house to check out the bike. Trey's mind was made up before we left, and when we got there, I wasn't sure the bike was worth as much as she was asking, but he did not care. It was the one he wanted. So, we each paid half, and he came home with a "new" bike too. A red mongoose bike. And he LOVES it too. Are we on a role or what? I guess if you wait long enough and things get in bad enough shape, it's easy to please these kiddos. Regardless, here they are, riding their "new" bikes in the cul -de- sac. This was a favorite activity for months after the new bikes. Everyone wanted to ride their bikes. So, after work one day, Daddy, who really does not at all like riding bikes, got his out and rode with them. Isn't that so cute. And if you look closely at the bottom picture, you'll see that he is smiling while riding. He is enjoying what the kiddos enjoy. What an awesome Daddy! If only these kiddos knew just how special he is. Good thing I know!
