Ham Orchards

Natalie Joyner had suggested going peach picking as an end of the summer outing, and I told her we would love to go!  However, she learned that the peach orchard she used to go to had closed.  But she discovered this place, Ham Orchards in Terrell, Tx.  It was about an hour away, and since friends were going and we had nothing else planned, we joined her and the Poultons on this excursion.  We drove an hour, and the kiddos had fun, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting.  I would love to go out there with Trent on a date one day.  It's more of an adult place I think; though they did have some pretty awesome suckers and ice cream!  It was an orchard/farm that has a little store that you can buy homemade products from their produce and even purchase produce there too.  It was a bit pricey, but man was the fruit awesome!  They are known for their peaches, so we picked up a small bag of those, along with some miniature apples, some cherries, some peach salsa and of course, suckers and ice cream cones.

This is already Levi's second cone. He lost the first one after about 2 minutes.  They were sweet enough to give him another one though.

A sweet man in the store offered to take our picture, despite not having a clue how to use my big camera.  He just clicked the button.  Too bad it wasn't focused on us.  But, it's the thought that counts!

 Our Seth-a-roo.

 And our Levi.

 Our cowgirl

Trey, with Luke and Ben Joyner.  Such cuties.  They are moving to Prosper in the next few weeks.  We are REALLY going to miss them!

Now if this doesn't explain why her and Seth have so much fun together, I'm not sure what will.  "Little Abby" can be as big of a goofball as any of us Lofgrens.  We love her and all our friends!

Thank you so much for putting this all together for us Natalie.  It was a fun day spent with friends!
