Florida Fun

After our long drive, we finally arrived at my sister's house about 9:30am.  She brought donuts home with her from the gym for the kiddos since we were not able to find any breakfast.  They loved that!  Then off all the kiddos went, exploring Missi and Sion's house and the girl's toys and catching up on things they've all been doing since our last visit together.  Never a dull moment when cousins are together, that is for sure.  Here are some of the fun things we did while in Florida:

Played at Missi and Sion's house.  We did this a lot!  And why not, with fun like this, no sense in leaving, right?!?!  That was our thought anyways.

Dinner at their table.  Luckily they have two leaves to put in it.  We needed it for this week!

Our beautiful Jada at a park right next to the beach

Our beautiful Emerson at the same beach.

Everyone heading up to the beach after everyone that needed to, hit the potty.  We were just going to see the ocean this time, since we were waiting for the "Sting Ray and Shark place" to open.

It was about 10:30am.  What can you do with all that sun, and all those blondies?  Take a picture anyways!

"The Sting Ray and Shark Place" as we call it - I honestly can't remember the real name for this place, was awesome!  We got to feed and pet the sting rays, and watch while they fed a bunch of sharks.  They also had a lot of fun play things and learning exhibits to entertain the kiddos.  They had a blast.  Thought I think only Missi and myself were the only ones that actually fed the sting rays.  After feeding though, Seth and Avalie (as you can see below) really loved petting them.  It was quite the experience.
Missi trying to show Jada and Emerson how to hold the food for the sting rays to get it.  I think she put her hand in the water, but the minute a sting ray came near, she pulled her hand out.  As many of the kiddos there did.  To there credit, it is kind of scary/freaky when you aren't quite sure what to expect.

Seth and Avie loving the sting rays now.

The sharks that got fed.  And this is only some of them.  It was awesome to see this feeding frenzy!

Us right before the shark feeding.  We watched from this bridge as the workers through food just beyond Levi there on the bottom of the picture.

Avie intense on watching those sharks.

Levi playing captain of a play boat they had there.

Seth, trying to imitate Captain Hook, by using Mommy's hat to steer the ship.

Stuart Beach: This was our favorite beach that we went to.  The kids could have spent three days here if we'd have let them.

Levi really just loved playing on the water's edge.  He went in a few times, but then came back out to sit and wait for the waves.

Seth loved everything about the beach.  He swam and tried to keep up with the big kids, but then also came and enjoyed some time near the shore too.

 Emerson swimming away.

I just loved this picture of my dad and my sister.  Behind my dad you can see the rain in the distance - just notice the clouds to the left of my dads head, and then the solid colored sky to the right.  The solid is the raining.  It rains almost every single afternoon there in the summers.  It was pretty crazy.  Still warm, but really humid.  Lucky for us, we didn't get rained on while having our fun here!

Avalie trying to ride a wave.

 She made it!

 Our spot at the beach.
Rinsing all the sand off so we can head home.

Dad holding our precious Tallis so everyone can rinse off in the little shower.
This was one fun-filled day.  And we've still got about 7 more days here!!
