Heading to Ohio

On short notice, the kiddos and I decided to ride with my Mom to visit my sister in Ohio for my niece, Emerson's, 5th birthday.  We left Thursday, April 17th (her actual birthday) but she was having a PJ birthday party Saturday morning at a bounce house place near her, so we were there for that.

  Trey and Jada are excellent travelers.  As long as they've got a movie playing, they are content!  Seth is pretty good.  Levi is TERRIBLE!  The 16 hour drive took us 19 hours, and stretched every nerve fiber my mom and I had to the max.  But, alas, we made it there by 11pm, Ohio time.  My sister got her girls up and these 6 kiddos had a blast for another hour and a half, before we made everyone go to sleep for the night.  The next day, we just rested, knowing Saturday was going to be pretty exhausting for everyone.

 Now this is how all birthday girls should be treated, right?!?  Like royalty!  Happy Birthday Emerson!

We ended up staying only through the weekend.  We left Sunday evening.  We got there Thursday at 11pm.  I guess seeing the girls made all that driving for not much time worth it.  We'd never been to Ohio to visit them, so this was a fun trip for everyone.  Even if nerves got stretched, seeing all the fun the cousins had together made it all worth it!

Thanks for letting us invade your home Uncle Sion and Aunt Missi!  And we are going to miss you all - Emerson and Avalie especially!!!
