Just before Spring Break, I started to sand the drawers and cabinets in the master bathroom because it was time for an update. I was going to paint these cabinets myself this time - and do it right!! I took a picture of how I sanded my drawers and compared it to how the company I hired to do my kitchen cabinets sanded them before painting them. This bottom picture is a part of a drawer that has chipped. Quite a contrast between my sanding job and theirs. I can guess, there is going to be a totally different result too. I'm going to bet, my bathroom cabinets don't chip. UNLIKE my kitchen cabinets that need desperately to be repainted already! The master bathroom cabinets were a practice for me to get familiar with painting cabinets before I take on redoing my kitchen!
After about a week, I finally got everything painted. this is how it looks now!!! I LOVE it! (Trent does too!) I'm so glad I ventured this and now I know that I can do my kitchen, but I also know that it is going to take me a VERY long time to do it! UGH!!!
