Double Trouble

Yes, that is mud.  And yes, Levi (the one in the red) has no underwear or shorts on.

Mommy decided since Andrew was napping, I would actually go take a shower. As I'm drying off in the bathroom, I hear the doorbell ring.  I just new it was the boys, so I ignored it, thinking they would walk back around and come in the house.  Well, they kept ringing it.  So, I threw my robe on and answered the door.  The scene before me was pretty much this exact picture.  Levi - no underwear or shorts on, covered head to toe in mud with Seth right next to him also covered in mud (but at least he had shorts and underwear on).  My first concern is that Levi is playing out front half naked - I have no idea who has seen him.  So I tell them to go through the gate and to the back yard so I can figure out where they got into the mud and figure out how to clean them off.  I quickly get dressed and run out back, to discover that the mud came from under the trampoline.  They turned the hose on and where my garden used to be, there was no grass.  So, the water and the dirt made a huge mud puddle for them to basically bathe in.  Lovely!  So, I went and grabbed the hose and hosed them off in the back yard.  Now back in Wisconsin, that would have been punishment enough to not do that again because the water would have been freezing cold.  However, in Texas, they were basically getting bath water squirted on them.  So, the effect wasn't quite the same.  So, these two boys were being boys - being creative and playing int he mud.  They knew Mommy was not happy and did not appreciate the huge mess, but Mommy was not going to throw a huge fit about it either.  Needless to say, things never get boring around here!
