Allen Eagles vs. Coppell Cowboys. We had to go to a game again, because every time we drive passed the stadium, Seth asks when we are "going to go there again." So, we invited Grandma and Papa Schmidt to join us for a Friday night, under the lights! We did get a babysitter for Levi again though. Since he normally goes to bed at 7 or 7:30 and the game started at 7, we figured he would not enjoy the game, and probably make it miserable for all around him. Sorry Levi, maybe next year!
Coppell's marching band: another top notch marching band. Their performance was incredible!!! Felt like I was watching an opera or something. Their costumes were really impressive too!
Allen's marching band. Yes, it nearly filled the field! They, too were really amazing! It was so fun to be at this game and see quality football (Coppell was ranked really high in the State too) as well as great half time entertainment! So much fun for everyone! Our future cheerleader (insert large and heavy gulp). She had so much fun and she didn't care that the colors were not ours. A local bank was handing the pom poms out so we took some. Unfortunately they were Coppell's colors. However, since we sat in the midst of Coppell fans, perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing!!
Now this little sign is really cool. It's like a scroll that opens up and closes. However, it was given to us by someone sitting just below us, Coppell fans. So the other side, which Trey would NOT show, said "Go Cowboys." But he didn't mind using this side of the sign. And he actually really liked it!
Probably the best two pictures of the night, the one above and the one below.
Not sure what happened on the field that shocked Trey, but just look at that surprise!! He's just like his Mommy; wears his feelings on his face!
Seth and Jada in the bathroom standing under the hand dryers, enjoying the air. Isn't that just pure childhood fun! Love it!
After the bathroom we watched from up top a little to get these kiddos some wiggling room. Here's what they came up with to do. They had a blast taking turns looking at Mommy upside down.
Final score! Way to go Allen! And what a fun night!
