Not So Happy

I am hoping this is just a phase, but Trey is just so sad, and mad and frustrated these days.  It's like he thinks the world is out to get him or something.  It is so disheartening to me, because not only am I dealing with the crying, the fits and the rampages of a 6 year old, but it's coming from my tenderhearted, sweet, loving Trey.  I feel like that little guy is lost right now.  If we tell him anything that isn't what he wants, he instantly blows up and starts crying and/or yelling.  Usually involved is the stomping of feet, hitting his head and ranting like a mad man  (which he technically is at that point).  I caught this picture and just had to share it.  This was at the park and we were going to possibly meet up with some friends there, but they ran late and were not able to make it.  When I told him that, this was the result.  I understand being upset about this, but he goes overboard, and I just don't know how to help him.  Nothing seems to help - he is just so angry!  I hope he grows out of this soon because I miss my sweetie - who still comes out a little bit each day; generally right before bed.  Is that weird or what?  Trey we love you and everyone around you loves you!  You are such a beautiful, smart, happy boy!!  The world can be maddening, I know, but it can also be so beautiful and wonderful!  Smile, Angel!!!
