4th of July:
early morning flag ceremony before ward breakfast
we went over to the Veibel's little farm after our ward breakfast
Seth helping carry watermelon rinds to the goats
Levi was afraid of the animals (especially the goats) at first. Daddy helped him though.

We even got to ride Maren's new horse around in the pen. We all loved that!
again, Levi was not so sure about these chickens, but... Daddy to the rescue!
Fireworks at Grandma and Papa Schmidt's house later that day:
Brinn girls: Tallis, Emerson and Avalie
The whole clan - some unhappy campers this time
The girls: Avalie, Tallis, Emerson and Jada
one of my favorite pictures of our boys - crazy hair and all. I just love it!
Grandma with the girls!
Slumber party at the Lofgrens under the "star blanket."
Another day it was Geo-caching. Had to introduce the Brinns to one of our favorite outdoor activities. They weren't quite as big on it as we were, but they still enjoyed themselves and were good sports about it.
We even got to celebrate Avalie's 7th birthday while she was here. How fun is that?!? Look at this precious girl. She's getting so big now!
We also went rollerskating. Everyone but Levi took their own rollerblades, so they got to use those there.
Look at these adorable girls helping Levi! So sweet!
Just wouldn't be summer without a picnic outside on the patio, right?!?
Rock climbing with Aunt Jenny for the older kiddos (Seth, Jada, Trey, Emerson and Avalie). Seth really never warmed up to it, he was a bit nervous to go more than 4 feet off the ground or so. The Brinn girls took a couple minutes to warm up and then, as you can see, they loved it and couldn't go high enough!
Such exhausting fun!
Uncle Trent and Aunt Jenny took the kiddos to see the new Minion movie in 3D. They loved that too!
Just goofing around in the water at our house. Kids being kids and having fun!
Phew, that was a lot of fun! Brinns, we wish we saw you more often. We miss you all so very much! Thanks for coming to Texas for a bit this summer!
