Dallas Zoo Trip

Lucky for us, some friends of ours were going to the zoo and invited us to join them.  And we did!  The Dakins, the Poultons, the Lofgrens, and a little later, the Joyners were all at the zoo together on MLK day.  It was still winter rates (only $5 a person - 2 and under are free) so we scored because the weather was fantastic.  Here were some of the things we did/saw while we were there:

Seth hugging a view finder thing at the zoo.  Looked like a robot face to me.  Thought it was a cute picture

Trey and Jada on top of some big rocks.  Look at that girl of ours.  What are we going to do with her?

Levi finding some yummy chips that were on the ground (disgusting!)

Clearly, the pictures don't really tell the story of the things we saw at the zoo (except the elephants) but at least they demonstrate that we had fun.  Being a holiday the zoo was pretty crowded and by the time we left - the zoo was a zoo!  So keeping track of the kiddos was hard enough - getting pictures was secondary and only happened if there was a moment when they were all together!  But, all the kiddos had fun and it felt so good to get out in the nice weather and play with friends outdoors.  Thanks for the invite guys.  We had a blast!
