Utah For a Wedding

In August, we headed to Utah for a wedding reception for Trent's youngest brother, Sean.  He married a wonderful Vietnamese woman, Amy.  They were married in Vietnam in the end of July, then had a wonderful reception in Utah, in David and Marla's back yard.  So, here are some of the highlights from our visit with the Lofgrens (I'm breaking this up into several posts, instead of one long mega-post!!!).

Call me crazy, but I thought it would be best for me to take all 4 kiddos to Utah earlier than Trent could come so that we could spend some time visiting with family that we don't see often enough.  So, I flew with all 4 kiddos on the plane by myself!!!  Yes, Levi is only 9 months, and Seth is only 27 months.  This made things a bit complicated.  But we did made it.  The kiddos were great in the airport and really good on the plane.  Seth decided to shake things up a bit though right at the end of the flight (about 30 minutes before landing) by throwing up everything he'd eaten right when we got on the plane.  This made things very complicated.  Luckily for me, the woman that was sitting with Levi, Seth and myself took Levi for me so that I could clean up and deal with Seth.  Thank you to Mary!!  Otherwise, it wasn't too bad.  Really!!

Of course, before I even got all the bags out of the car, Jada was asking for her goggles so she could go swimming in Grandma Lofgren's pool!  I explained that she had to wait until we got everything in.  Being unable to contain her excitement with everything, she asked probably 4 times within the first 15 minutes of being at Grandma and Papa Lofgreen's house.  So, succumbing to her excitement the kiddos went swimming  right when we got there!

Then, when cousins Carson, Annie and Kai came over, the first thing they all did was... go swimming!!

Marla borrowed this little scooter from a neighbor for the kiddos to use.  Look how cute our little Seth looks on this thing.  Man, I could eat him up!

And a Utah visit, would not be a visit to Utah without walks with Grandma - even ones in pajamas!!!
